Blue & Brown Chess Set

A perfect example of our belief that art should be useable, this ceramic chess set is made and painted completely by hand. Each piece has been lovingly designed and decorated, and while they all match, no two pieces are exactly the same. All sets are sold with the matching chess board, also made completely by hand here in Toronto by local wood worker Tamsin Kelsey. Created with sustainably sourced Canadian wood, Walnut, and either Maple or Ash. 

Due to the sometimes unpredictable nature of ceramics, some pieces may have slight imperfections in the glaze. The price of this set has been reflected to match any flaws in glaze surface quality.
